ESPICHE and the local area

​Espiche village is a typical Portuguese village with a morning food market, small grocery stores and a bank machine. There are cafes , several restaurants and bars in the village. It is in a great location for exploring the best of The Algarve.The immediate countryside has lovely walks through woods and fields.Algarve beaches are second to none with choices from quiet coves to the wild surfing beaches of the West Coast.

The closest small town is Praia da Luz, 5 minutes by car or a 20 minute walk.Here you can find a lovely beach,watersports, plenty of shops,bars and restaurants, and a lively nightlife. There are also doctors,banks, supermarkets and pharmacies.

The main town of Lagos is only a 10 minute drive away.Lagos is a bustling town with plenty of shops , bars and restaurants, historical monuments and a marina from where you can take boat trips to the grottoes or go dolphin watching.Beautiful beaches too!
